Season Six planning for the Vero Beach Chamber Orchestra is already for press. On March 16th we will open Season Six with Bach Orchestral Suite #3 with Harpsichord Continuo and Beethoven Symphony #6   The second concert  on April 13th will feature Gordon Jacobs' "Old Wine in New Bottles", a selection for winds only, Ravel Pavane pour une Infante DeFunte and Beethoven Symphony #5.  

The idea of a community orchestra was conceived in 2007 and  took form in the fall on 2008.  The mission is to provide professional and semi professional adult and student musicians in Indian River County and neighboring communities an opportunity to play classic symphonic literature at a professional level.  Our expectations are that all musicians will strive to attain a higher level of excellence.  We hope to make classical music  accessible and affordable for everyone in the community.
